Role: Minister Registration Officer
The Administration department, specifically the Ministers Registration team, exists to welcome and support all ministers during Upper Room services. Our focus is to create a warm, organised, and honoring environment by ensuring every minister is received with excellence and guided smoothly into their place of service.
This department is motivated by love, service, and unity, with the goal of strengthening and honoring those who faithfully serve the Kingdom of God so they can minister with clarity, confidence, and focus.

Role and responsibilities
Admin Team Members play a key role in receiving and assisting ministers throughout the services. This role combines practical coordination with relational warmth, ensuring every minister feels valued, respected, and well cared for.
Team Members are expected to serve during scheduled hours, which may include pre-service preparation and post-service wrap-up. Shifts may require standing for extended periods and moving around the venue, and may include missing the start of services. The role includes:
- Checking in ministers upon arrival and confirming their attendance.
- Welcoming ministers warmly and directing them to designated waiting or seating areas.
- Assisting ministers to their assigned seats in a timely and organized manner.
- Placing and securing wristbands or identification bands as required.
- Maintaining order and readiness in minister seating areas.
- Assisting with pre-service set-up and post-service pack-down of designated areas.
- Offering a calm, respectful, and encouraging presence to all ministers.
Requirements
- A heart for serving and honoring those in ministry.
- Reliability and punctuality in fulfilling assigned shifts.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and move around the venue as needed.
- Clear and respectful communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in fast-paced environments.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in ushering, event coordination, or guest services.
- Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with leaders.
Expected Process
- Written Application – Candidates will complete a written application.
- Virtual Interview (1x) – A one to one online interview to discern calling, character,availability, and alignment with Upper Room’s mission and values.
- Prayerful Discernment & Reference Check (if applicable) – The leadership team prayerfully reviews applications and may contact a pastor or spiritual leader for reference.
- Acceptance & Onboarding – Accepted members complete orientation and training.
