The Ushering department plays an important role in creating a welcoming, safe, and orderly environment during services and gatherings.
Ushers serve as the first point of contact for attendees and help ensure that all events run smoothly. As part of their responsibilities, they remain attentive throughout services, including being prepared to safely support and assist individuals when necessary.
Positions Available: the number of people selected is based on the team's capacity.
Role and Responsibilities
- Properly catching of attendees as necessary, practical training will be provided.
- Assisting the housekeeping team in the allocation of attendees seats.
- May assist security team for people to leave the hall between/after services.
- Communicate and serve pro-actively whilst following rules and regulations of the team.
- Keeping work stations (mobile or non-mobile) clean .
- Remaining visible at all times – never leave your post unattended.
- Working together and bring innovative ideas to improve the work.
This role entails moments of long standing and carrying of people. The
applicant should be in the vicinity of the conference by latest Wednesday noon.
Requirements
- Joining the meetings, fasting and prayer times with the team.
- Building personal spiritual focus & discernment.
- Communicate and serve pro-actively.
- Representing Christ: Exercise the fruit of the Spirit with everyone at all times.
- Timeliness, flexibility integrity & personal cleanliness is necessary.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience serving at events/conferences/church.
- First aid certificate or other types of certificates (food, fire, security,...).
Expected Process
- Written Application – Candidates will complete a written application.
- Prayerful Discernment & Reference Check (if applicable) – The leadership team prayerfully reviews applications and may contact a pastor or spiritual leader for reference.
- Acceptance & Onboarding – Accepted members complete orientation and training.
